After experimenting multiple times with real Super 8 cameras and film, I realized something important: as beautiful as the look is, the process comes with real risks. These cameras are decades old, film can fail, and there’s always a chance footage doesn’t come back as expected or at all. Not to mention is costs hundreds of dollars for the rolls of film and processing.
For something as irreplaceable as a wedding day, that’s not a risk I felt comfortable passing on to my couples.
